Thermostats
Thermostat installation, pairing and setting up — including the settings that nobody goes through afterwards.
The short version
A thermostat wired correctly but set up badly will still leave a house uncomfortable. Fitting it is quick; the setup is what makes it earn its place.

What the work involves
Step by step
01
Picking a control that fits
What your existing heating can actually work with, and what a new control could and could not do on top of it.
02
Wiring it in and pairing it up
The unit is mounted, wired in and paired with the appliance or receiver.

03
Building the schedule with you
The times and temperatures are set around your week rather than left as the factory left them.
04
A walkthrough before we go
So that you know what each setting does, and what to change if something feels wrong.

A new control will not fix a cold radiator.
If one room is cold and the rest are warm, that is usually a radiator or balancing matter rather than a control one. Worth checking before spending anything on a thermostat.
Have it looked at first
Describe the symptoms and we will book a visit to inspect the system before any work is agreed.
