Maintenance & Faults
Yearly heating maintenance, and what happens when a system stops doing what it should.
The short version
A service is more than a glance at the appliance: we go over the whole system. And a fault visit starts with diagnosis, not with a suggestion to replace something.

What the work involves
Step by step
01
The yearly visit
One visit a year that covers the appliance and everything around it.
Appliance service and cleaningComponent and seal inspectionPressure and water quality checkedA written record for the property
02
What is wearing out
What is close to the end of its life, what is sound, and what can wait another year.
Condition of moving and sealing partsWhat we would replace nowWhat we would leave until next timeCosts of each, set out plainly
03
Tracing what has failed
When something stops, the first job is to establish what has actually failed.
No heat, no cooling, uneven heatingLeaks and pressure lossControls that do not respondWhat has failed, and what has not

04
Fixing it and proving it
The repair is made and the system is run again before we leave.
Repair or replacement of the failed partPressure and function re-checkedCorrect operation confirmedRecord updated and kept on file

Some things can wait. Some cannot.
Where a fault is neither dangerous nor getting worse, we will say it can wait. Where it cannot, we will say plainly why.
Have it looked at first
Describe the symptoms and we will book a visit to inspect the system before any work is agreed.
